Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta 1 Day TourOverviewLet’s start the tour to explore the unique secret tunnel system – Cu Chi Tunnels and the heroic historical moments of our ancestors. The Cu Chi Tunnels were formed during the resistance war against the French colonialists (around 1948). The tunnel system was first built in the two communes of Tan Phu Trung and Phuoc Vinh An, and the name Cu Chi Tunnels also appeared from that time. At first, the tunnels only had short sections, simple structures, used to hide documents and hide cadres in enemy areas. During the resistance war against the US, the tunnels were reinforced and expanded. You will continue your adventure to the Mekong Delta, drifting on a boat, through small canals sheltered by green islands. Many interesting things are waiting for you to discover. My Tho and Ben Tre are connected with two branches of the Tien and Hau rivers, creating for the southern land majestic beauty, endless fields and gentle canals and streams imbued with the Southern character. There are many tourist destinations, such as national historical and cultural relics - Vinh Trang Pagoda, eco-tourism site Con Thai Son, Long Islet, Lan Islet and Quy Islet.
