  • Thien Hau Pagoda which was built in 1760. Since then, it has been renovated many times. The temple has a Quoc-shaped ground plan, divided into 3 rows: the front hall, the middle hall and the back hall.

  • Fishing Village:You will experience the life of the fishing village people when the fishing net is pulled up for the first time of the day, with lots of fresh seafood such as crab, squid, fish, shrimp, snails... Day 3: Muine – Vung Tau – Ho May Park – Cable Car – Ho Chi Minh city

At 07:00 am: The car and driver pick you up at the hotel in Muine. Start the Vung Tau city tour – Ho May Cable Car. Situated atop Big Mountain in Vung Tau, Ho May Park is a well-known tourist destination. Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh

07:30 am: the car and driver (no tour guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels.

09:30 am: Arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels

  • Watch a 3D film on the largest Us military operation during the Vietnam War. Learn about the Viet Cong's intricate subterranean tunnel system and how it operated throughout the war, as well as their lives in the tunnels from 1961 to 1972.

  • Investigate a little hiding place in the tunnel and see how the residents used to move around.  Explore the network of tunnels, which includes many trap doors, storage facilities, weapons manufacturers, field hospitals, command centers, kitchens, and more.

  • Explore the woodland and see a video on the strategic system of the Cu Chi Tunnels.

  • Crawl inside the tunnel and discover the actual world underneath it.

  • Try firing an M16 rifle at the shooting range (payment required).

  • At the Cu Chi tunnels, you may eat cassava, which was popular during wartime.

14:00 pm: the car and driver (no tour guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to My Tho boat station (about 10:00 AM) where your tour guide will greet and welcome you for embarking the boat.

Around noon, have an authentic set menu lunch with an elephant ear fish.

Arrive at My Tho boat station (where you will meet your tour guide), board the motorboat at a dock, and cruise down the magnificent Mekong River.  At this point you can see floating houses where fish are farmed beneath them surrounding four islands: Dragon Island, Thoi Son Island (Unicorn Island), Phoenix Island, and Turtle islet (viewed from the speedboat).

Following the journey on the river until you reach the local hidden Tan Thach village (which is much less touristy than Thoi Son island tourism), you will learn about many coconut uses (coconut candy, wine, oil, mat, coco shell), and the tour guide will also explain the coco candy production process at the local coconut workshop, which is very kid-friendly.  Enjoying free sampling of local dishes and learning about the daily lives of locals.

  • Horse cart

Take a brief walk through the village.  Enjoy more Mekong countryside with the horse cart as a Landlord from the past.  Visit another village for a performance of Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam certified by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) and seasonal tropical fruits and honey tea (included).

  • Hand rowing sampan (smalboat) in a tiny canal.

Afterward, I was on a hand-rowing sampan (small boat) in a little canal, leisurely cruising through a small stream with magnificent overhanging coconut palms. Life on both sides of the brook may be viewed.

17:00 pm: Transfer to HCMC

Disembark at My Tho boat port, where a vehicle driver (no tour guide) will meet you and bring you directly to HCMC city.  Arrive in HCMC at 19:00 pm.
