The Mekong Delta 2 Days Private Tour is one of the shortest but most experiential journeys. Itinerary:

DAY 1:  HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE – CAN THO

07:30 am: Vietnam Trust Car Rental Company car and tour guide pick up customers at the hotel. The group departs for My Tho City, arrival time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

You will see the rice fields along both sides of the road and see the Vam Co Dong River and Long An City. On the way to My Tho, the car will stop at the Mekong Rest Stop, where you can rest, do personal activities and take pictures with the beautiful scenery here.

09:00 am: The first place to visit is Vinh Trang Pagoda, on the way, the tour guide will introduce to visitors the history of Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the South. The pagoda is the largest and has the most unique architecture in the Mekong Delta, combining Vietnamese and Khmer culture with unique Western European architecture. One of the most famous ancient pagodas in the West. In 1984, Vinh Trang Pagoda was ranked as a national monument by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

10:00 am: After visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda, the group continued to My Tho, went to the wharf and took a boat along the Tien River, admiring the scenery on both sides of the river with fresh air, dispelling the noisy atmosphere of the city, passing through four islands: Long, Lan, Qui, and Phung. The boat ran along the floating fish rafts for tourists to learn about the local people's way of raising fish on the river and admire Rach Mieu Bridge.

Coming to Thoi Son Islet, also known as Lan Islet, visitors can walk on the village road, visit local houses and orchards, enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Southern folk music. Visit the bee farm, enjoy healthy honey lemon tea, visit the python farm and take pictures with the pythons.

Then, the rowing boat will take visitors through small canals to see two rows of natural water coconut trees, a typical tree here, and admire the simple landscape of the garden.

Continue to take you, rest and enjoy garden fruits, drink tea and listen to the unique Southern Folk Music performance. Then you go to the ferry dock to take a rowing boat (three-leaf boat) along the canal under the cool shade of coconut trees.

11:30 am: We return to the big boat, the boat goes down the Tien River, and the boat will take you to Ben Tre province. Tourists will visit the coconut candy factory, can make coconut candy by themselves through the steps such as separating coconut, scraping coconut, mixing coconut, cutting and wrapping into balls.

Horse-drawn carriage ride on the village road, visit the rice paper kiln in Tan Thanh commune 

The boat continues to take guests to Phung Islet to visit the Coconut God relic, visit the crocodile farm and go crocodile fishing at your own expense.

12:00 pm: Go to the restaurant and have lunch with the specialties of the river region. After lunch, you can stroll on the village roads, immerse yourself in the rustic life of the local people, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air of the famous coconut land.

03:00 pm: Then the whole group walked along the small village road to the My Tho Wharf, where the car was waiting, and got in the car to depart for Can Tho.

05:00 - 05:30 pm: Upon arrival in Can Tho, check in to the hotel and relax.

Have dinner at the restaurant or go to Ninh Kieu wharf to board the Can Tho cruise for dinner (at your expense), enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Mekong Delta Capital at night - listen to Southern folk music and enjoy dinner with Western specialties at the restaurant on the cruise.

DAY 2: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY 

05:00 am: You will visit Cai Rang Floating Market - a unique experience in the Mekong Delta. The boat will stop at the traditional noodle village, where you can enjoy breakfast on the river: noodle soup, crab noodle soup, and fish noodle soup (at your own expense).

Tourists will move to the pier and take a morning boat to visit Cai Rang floating market, the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta, to see the bustling trading scene on the river of local people with the slogan 'What is hung is sold', fruits, agricultural products such as coconut, mango, watermelon, pumpkin and daily dishes... Here, tourists can buy fruits to enjoy and give as gifts to family and relatives.

08:00 am: Then continue to visit and see the process of making rice noodles, rice paper and will have a special experience with the 'monkey bridge' of the Mekong Delta in the fruit garden.

After lunch, around 12:30 pm, tourists depart back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City around 05:00 pm, ending the 2-day, 1-night Western tour visiting My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho.
