Travel experience with self-driving car rental in Vietnam

Nowadays, self-driving car travel is popular with many people because you can be flexible about travel time, schedule and destination. And for a safe trip by self-driving car, tourists should note the following issues:

Vehicle quality check

Thorough inspection of the vehicle's quality before departure is extremely important to ensure a safe trip. First you need to check the tires. If the tire is too worn, you should replace it, pump more nitrogen gas to reduce the heat.

Don't forget to bring a spare tire in case your car blows out along the way.

Next, see if other important parts such as brakes, lights, and turn signals are working properly. Car repair tools are also essential if you decide to choose a self-driving car rental service.

Besides, you should buy an electric pump because it will be very useful in case the car is stuck with nails.

Make a detailed itinerary for the trip

You should prepare yourself a schedule as detailed as possible when traveling by self-driving car. In addition to choosing a destination, you also need to know the rest stops along the way, in case something goes wrong.

Avoid stopping in dark or less populated places

Under no circumstances should you stop your vehicle in dark or sparsely populated areas. Please try to drive to a place with a lot of light or a densely populated area, unless there are force majeure cases, it is impossible to continue.

Obey traffic rules

In any case, when driving, you must obey the traffic rules. Absolutely do not accelerate recklessly, do not violate traffic laws to ensure a safe trip for yourself as well as those around you.

Save the car rescue service number.

An essential thing that you should do is search and save the list of auto rescue services in the locations you will pass. Although you have thoroughly checked the quality of the car before the trip, no one knows what may happen in advance.

If you rent a car to drive yourself when traveling, it is important to carefully check the vehicle documents and make a close contract.

When making a contract, you need to carefully read the terms such as: Car rental by km or by day, rental price, rental period, surcharge when exceeding the number of kilometers.
