Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city Arrival - Ho Chi Minh City Night Exploration 4 hours

Morning or afternoon: Start the 24-day Vietnam tour package. Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), you'll be transferred directly to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. City

18:00 PM: Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel.

  • Dive into the heart of Ho Chi Minh City's evening scene. This portion of the tour will take you past iconic landmarks beautifully illuminated at night, such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the Opera House. You'll witness the bustling street life and the city's unique charm after sunset.

21:15 PM: Experience a taste of local life with a stop at a lively night market or a popular food street. Here, you'll have the opportunity to soak in the atmosphere, browse local goods, and perhaps try some authentic Vietnamese street food.

21:15 - 21:30 PM: Conclude your tour with a relaxing ride back to your hotel, having experienced the captivating nocturnal side of Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh hotel - Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh city tour 9 hours

8:30 AM: Continue the Vietnam Adventure Tour. The driver will pick you up from the hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels tour.

9:00 AM: It takes us 1 hour to reach Ben Dinh – a system network belonging to Cu Chi tunnels.

  • When you go through the entrance, you will watch a brief propaganda video, which introduces the Vietnam War and the way the tunnels were utilized to struggle against the G.I.s in the Vietnam War.
  • You will visit the surroundings and follow our tour guide to discover the Ben Dinh tunnel. The tour guide will explain to you the life of people who lived under the ground and how they survived and communicated with each other
  • Then, you will experience it realistically by crawling through the tunnels and eating boiled tapioca, which was the main food people had to digest day by day. Take some rest and have interesting conversations about the war in the past.

13:00 AM: Lunch time! We have lunch at Ben Dinh restaurant. 

15:00 PM: The car takes us back to Ho Chi Minh City. 

  • We will visit Reunification Palace – The building, which was named Norodom Palace, was constructed for the French government in 1868. After the French moved out of Norodom Palace, the South Vietnam president took over and rebuilt the palace with the design of Ngo Viet Thu.
  • We keep going to two popular places, which are known as symbols in Ho Chi Minh City. The Central Post Office, which was built between 1886 and 1891, has French colonial architecture combined with Eastern style. This place has existed with the history of Ho Chi Minh city for a long time, and there are two painted maps created inside the post office. 
  • Not far away is Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed in 1863 and fully completed in 1880 by a French architect, which has a Roman architectural style mixed with Gothic architectural style and includes a cathedral, two bell towers (58 meters) and a park outside.
  • Continue the journey, we head to the War Remnants Museum. The must-visit museum for tourists in Ho Chi Minh City. The first name was “Exhibition House for U.S. and Puppet Crimes” in 1975, but the name was changed to “Exhibition House for Crimes of War and Aggression” 5 years later.

17:30 PM: The driver takes you back to the hotel.

Day 3: Mekong Delta tour (My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho)

08:00 AM: Depart from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City by private car transfer to My Tho, Tien Giang Province (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours drive).

10:00 AM - 13:00 PM: Upon arrival in My Tho, head to a local pier. You'll then embark on a motorized boat trip along the Tien River. Your boat will navigate through picturesque canals, taking you to various islands.

  • Unicorn Island (Con Lan): This is a popular stop where you can visit a local fruit orchard, enjoy some fresh tropical fruits, and listen to traditional Vietnamese folk music.
  • Coconut Candy Workshop: Experience the fascinating process of making coconut candy, a local specialty. You'll see how it's made from scratch and can sample different flavors.
  • Honey Bee Farm: Visit a bee farm where you can learn about beekeeping and sample honey tea.
  • Rowing Boat Experience: A highlight of the My Tho experience is a serene ride on a single-person rowing boat through the narrow, palm-fringed canals. This offers a tranquil perspective of the delta.

Lunch at 13:30 PM: Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant on one of the islands, often featuring fresh Mekong Delta specialties like 'Elephant Ear Fish'.

After lunch, the boat will take you across to Ben Tre Province, known as the 'Land of Coconuts'. Here, you might visit a local handicraft village where products are made from coconut wood or other natural materials. You'll then transfer back to My Tho pier.

17:30 PM: Depart from My Tho for Can Tho City (approx. 2 - 2.5 hours drive).

Evening: Arrive in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho – Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh

05:00 - 05:30 AM: Begin your day with an early start. Arrange for a boat trip from Can Tho pier to the Cai Rang Floating Market. This is an essential early morning activity as the market is most bustling from 05:00 to 08:00.

  • Explore the Cai Rang Floating Market. Witness the lively scene of boats selling various goods, from fresh produce to local handicrafts. You can enjoy breakfast on the boat (local specialties like hu tieu or coffee/drinks are often available for purchase from vendor boats).

08:00 AM: Return to Can Tho city from the floating market.

09:30 AM: Depart Can Tho for Chau Doc. This journey typically takes around 3.5 - 4 hours by private car. You'll travel through the scenic Mekong Delta countryside.

13:00 PM: Arrive in Chau Doc. You'll have a brief window to grab lunch at a local restaurant and buy some souvenirs at Chau Doc Market.

15:00 PM: Depart Chau Doc for Ho Chi Minh City. This is the longest leg of your journey, typically taking about 5.5 - 6 hours by private car, depending on traffic.

 

21:00 PM: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Cat Tien National Park

8:00 AM: Private car pick up at your hotel, go to Nam Cat Tien National Park to a former volcanic crater, known as Lava tubes. Crossing the Dong Nai River to enter the Cat Tien National Park enables visitors to begin their wildlife experience. 

About 12:00 PM: Arrive at the Nam Cat Tien National Park. 

  • We have lunch at a local restaurant, then check in. In the afternoon, we discovered: Lagerstroemia ovalifolia (Bang Lang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), and Ancistrolandus Tectorius (Trung quan). 
  • Nam Cat Tien National Park is located in the transition zone between Vietnam’s Truong Son Mountain Range (the highlands) and the Mekong Delta. Because of its unique location and the existence of 5 different forest types within the park, Cat Tien supports an amazing range of plants and animals.

Day 6: Cat Tien – Mui Ne hotel

09:00 AM: The driver and car pick you up from the hotel to transfer to Muine.

14:00 PM: Arrive in Muine. Check in Muine Hotel.

Day 7: Mui Ne sand dunes tour 9 hours

08:00 AM: Depart from your hotel in Mui Ne. Your journey to the sand dunes begins!

  • Arrive at the Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien). This gentle, shallow stream flows between vibrant red and white sand formations, creating a striking contrast. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the stream, soaking in the serene atmosphere and unique natural beauty.
  • Visit the Mui Ne Fishing Village. Witness the daily life of local fishermen as they bring in their catch. The vibrant boats lined along the shore make for fantastic photo opportunities, offering a glimpse into the authentic coastal culture of Mui Ne.
  • Head to the White Sand Dunes (Bau Trang). These vast, undulating dunes are breathtakingly beautiful, resembling a desert landscape. You'll have ample time to explore, take photos, and perhaps try sand-sliding (activity fees for sand-sliding or ATV rentals are not included and are at your own discretion).
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near the sand dunes. You'll have the opportunity to sample fresh seafood or other Vietnamese specialties (lunch is at your own expense).
  • Proceed to the Red Sand Dunes (Doi Cat Hong). Known for their striking reddish-brown hue, these dunes offer incredible views, especially as the sun begins to shift.

17:00 PM: Arrive back at your hotel, concluding your 9-hour sand dunes adventure.

Day 8: 09/08: Mui Ne - Dalat tour city 9 hours

08:30 AM: We will pick you up at your hotel lobby by car and go to Da Lat.
  • Datanla Waterfall: Datanla Waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls in Dalat. The waterfall is beautiful and hidden deep inside the pine forests.
  • Truclam Zen Monastery: Located on Phoenix Hill, a peaceful place for meditation, it's known for the biggest meditation institute in the South of Vietnam.
  • Tuyen Lam Lake or Paradise Lake: The romantic lake will be nice if you come as a couple. Every morning, the mist comes down, which makes the lake more fanciful as a paradise.
13:00 PM: Lunch time. Have lunch at a nice local restaurant in the center of Da Lat. 
  • Bao Dai Summer Palace: A beautiful historical and architectural destination, you shouldn't miss to know more about Vietnam's history and admire the beauty of French architecture.
17:30 PM: Back to your Hotel.

Day 9: Dalat city tour 9 hours

After your breakfast is done at the hotel. The driver will pick you up at 8.30 am. Then let's start the tour!

Some destinations that we will get to visit:

  • Dalat Old Railway Station: It was built in the Art Deco French style almost 100 years ago, but it still keeps its romantic beauty. The train station is famous as the oldest, the highest, and the most beautiful train station in Indochina.
  • Linh Phuoc Pagoda: A ceramic temple with a depiction of hell underground that you can visit and learn about some torture methods of punishment.
  • Hydrangea Flower Farm: Two hectares of hydrangea flowers blooming in blue color, shining in the morning's sunshine, you will feel like you're getting lost in the flower forest.
  • Crazy House: A unique building belongs to a Vietnamese lady to bring nature close to architecture, and now, it has become one of the top ten famous crazy houses in the world.
  • Lat Ethnic Minority Village: The original people living in Dalat before the Vietnamese and French came to this land.
  • Langbiang mountain: The highest mountain, we will take a jeep to go up the mountain top, from there you will have a panoramic mountain and city view.

17:30 PM: Back to your Hotel.

Day 10: Dalat sightseeing 9 hours

8:30 AM: The driver and private car will pick you up at the hotel.

  • Van Thanh Flower Village: Visit the local farms with thousands of colorful flowers, immerse yourself, and take beautiful pictures.
  • Elephant Waterfall: The most powerful waterfall in Dalat, you can go to the bottom to discover the windy cave and take some nice photos.
  • Linh An Pagoda: Linh An Pagoda is famous for a huge happy Buddha statue.
  • Coffee plantation and weasel coffee: See the plantation with many coffee types in Vietnam and see the animal producing the most expensive coffee in the world.
  • Pongour Waterfall: The largest and most beautiful waterfall in Southern Vietnam.

17:30 PM: The driver will drop you at your hotel in the city.

Day 11: Dalat – Nha Trang city tour 9 hours

08:30 AM: The driver and private car will pick you up at the hotel.

12:30 AM: Arrive in Nha Trang, Start Nha Trang city tour 9 hours

  • Oceanographic Institute: The Institute of Oceanography, which was established in 1923, was one of the first centers for scientific research in Indochina.

12:00 PM: Have lunch at a local restaurant

  • Long Son Pagoda: The pagoda was founded in the late 19th century then renovated in 1940. Located on Trai Thuy hill, it is the largest pagoda in Nha Trang. 
  • Ponagar Cham Tower: The tower was built by the Cham civilization between the 7th and 12th centuries to honor Yang I Nu Ponagar, mother of the Kingdom. 
  • Chong Rocks: Chong Rocks is a famous sight in Nha Trang city. Chong Rocks, two large rock clusters, are located on the beach at the foot of La San hill. 
  • Mud bath and hot spring: It’s one of the most fun experiences in Nha Trang. 

Around 17:30 PM: Tour ends; drop you off back at the hotel.

Day 12: Nha Trang - Bay Xép tour beach 9 hours

09:00 AM: Your vehicle will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Nha Trang.

13:00 PM: Arrive at Bai Xep, Quy Nhon. You can have lunch at a local restaurant near the beach, enjoying fresh seafood (lunch cost is at your own expense).

  • Relax at Bai Xep: Enjoy free time at this peaceful fishing village. Bai Xep boasts a golden sandy beach, clear blue waters, and charming coconut groves. You can swim, stroll along the shore, take photos, or simply unwind and breathe in the fresh village air.

18:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel in Quy Nhon. You will proceed with your own check-in, concluding your 9-hour tour.

Day 13: Bai Xép - My Son Tour Sanctuary 9 hours - Hoian

  • My Son Sanctuary: We will kick off our day trip with a visit to My Son, the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled in a lush green valley, My Son features dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from the 7th to the 13th century.

Day 14: Hoi An & Da Nang city tour 10 hours

9:00 AM: The driver will pick you up at Hoian hotel. Start the Hoi An & Da Nang city tour 10 hours

  • Upon arrival in Cam Thanh Coconut Forest. You will get in a basket boat to explore the coconut forest.
  • Visit Hoi An Old Town – a bustling international trading port from the 16th to 17th century.
  • Get in a boat to cruise on the Hoai River and admire the charming town. Enjoy the sparkling night while dropping flower lanterns into the calm water.

Have lunch with Hoi An local food in a Vietnamese restaurant.

  • Visit the Marble Mountain. The mountain is well-known for its hidden caves, shrines, and pagodas.
  • Continue visiting Linh Ung Bai But Pagoda, located at Son Tra Peninsula, and admire the biggest Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Statue of Viet Nam.
  • Transfer back to the city center by visiting Han Market. Here, you can observe how Danang’s people sell the local products and buy lovely local souvenirs.

18:00 PM: Drops you off at the Danang hotel.

Day 15: Danang hotel – Hue tour 9 hours

08:00 am: The driver picks you up at the hotel, departure to Hue according to Hai Van tunnel.

  • Lang Co Beach with 10km long contains almost everything that nature can bestow: tropical forest green, smooth white sand, full sunlight and cool, transparent blue sea like phase pear. This is the 3rd bay of Vietnam, after Ha Long and Nha Trang, named in the list of 30 most beautiful bays in the world.

11:00 am: Arrive in Hue, visit the Khai Dinh Tomb with the great beauty of the sophisticated combination of East and West cultures.

12:00 pm: Enjoy having lunch and relaxing at the restaurant.

  • Continue to visit Thien Mu Pagoda - An ancient temple in Hue originally built during the time of the lord Nguyen Hoang.
  • Hue Citadel is a Hue tourist destination loved by domestic and foreign tourists. Located on the north of the Hương River Huong

17:30 pm: Take you back to the hotel.

Day 16: Hue – Phong Nha – Ke Bang Cave Tour 9 hours

8:00 AM: The driver will pick you up at the Danang hotel. Start the Hue – Phong Nha city tour 9 hours –  Ke Bang National Park.

12:00 PM: Have lunch

  • Visit Paradise cave – a very wonderful cave located inside the core zone of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. It was considered as the longest dry cave in Asia with total length of 31,4 km researched by British Cave Research Association. 
  • Visit Phong Nha cave: From the boat station at the Phong Nha tourism center to the cave’s entrace is about 5km. The boatman take you on the dragon boat about 30 minutes to the cave.

At 17:00 PM: drop off at Phong Nha HOTEL.

Day 18: Ninh Binh city tour 9 hours - Hanoi

  • Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – the most famous & biggest Pagoda in Southeast Asia with many records set, such as 500 Stone – Arhat Statues, 36 ton-bronze Bell, 100 ton-Budha Statue…

12h00 PM: Have lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local food 

  • Trang An Grottoes: After lunch, the car will take you to Trang An boat trip.
  • Keep going to Trang An Wharf to take a boat trip to visit the cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see the scenery of mountains and rivers. Trang An is considered as Ha Long on land.
  • Mua Cave attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps, here you can see all the way to Tam Coc, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and the Ngo Dong river. 

16h00 PM: Get on our car return to your hotel in Ha Noi.

18h00 PM: Arrive Ha Noi, drop off at your hotel in Ha Noi old quarter.

Day 19: Hanoi – Bac Ha tour 9 hours

08:00 AM: Your private car will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Hanoi.

13:00 PM: Arrive in Bac Ha town. Head directly to a local restaurant for lunch (at your own expense), sampling regional specialties.

  • Explore Bac Ha Market (if traveling on a Sunday): If your tour falls on a Sunday, immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and sounds of the famous Bac Ha Market. This is one of the largest and most authentic highland markets, where ethnic minority groups like the Flower Hmong, Dao, Tay, and Nung gather to trade goods, socialize, and showcase their traditional clothing. It's a fantastic opportunity for photography and cultural observation.
  • If not a Sunday: Visit Hoang A Tuong Palace, a unique architectural blend of French and Vietnamese styles, offering insights into the local history and the life of a former Hmong king. Alternatively, take a leisurely walk around Bac Ha town, observing local life.

17:00 PM: Transfer to your pre-booked guesthouse or hotel in Bac Ha.

  • Have Buffet lunch in Van Son Restaurant

16:00 pm: Gather at Fansipan Cable Car Station, get on the car back to Sapa center.

17:00 PM: Driver takes you back to the hotel.

  • Ta Van Village is recognized as a diverse ethnic place because this site is home to the H’mong, Giay, and Red Dao ethnic.
  • Muong Hoa Valley: You may see the most famous picture for the signature attractions of Northwest Vietnam, which is the largest rice paddies valley in Sapa.
  • Cat Cat Village: This place is the home of the H'mong ethnic, where you can learn about their customs and traditions, experience their life, and you can admire the picturesque scenery.

17:00 pm: The drivers take you back to Sapa hotel.

Day 22: Hanoi – Halong Cruise Tour 10 hours – Hanoi

08:00 am – Our car pick you up from hotel / stay and following the new highway to depart for Tuan Chau Island, Halong City, stop for a rest on the way.

12:00 pm – Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing

Cruise will take you on a 5.5 to 6-hour journey via 2 sleeper boat cruise route, which renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering. Lunch on a cruise.

13:45 pm – Arrive at Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalagtiles with different species of sea lives, then go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.

Visit Titov Island with a sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with an excellent backdrop of the Bay, and climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.

16:30 pm – Return to Cruises and cruising back toward Tuan Chau harbor. 

17:40-18:00 pm – Disembark to go back on the new highway to Hanoi.

20:30 pm – Drop off at your hotel / stay, trip ends.

  • Ho Chi Minh’s Stilts House: Just behind the mausoleum, you’ll visit Ho Chi Minh’s simple Stilts House, where he lived and worked. The modest wooden house, surrounded by lush gardens and a peaceful carp-filled pond, offers a glimpse into the humble lifestyle of a man who preferred simplicity over grandeur.
  • Presidential Palace: Nearby, the grand Presidential Palace, with its yellow colonial façade, contrasts sharply with the stilts house, symbolizing the country’s complex history. Originally built for the French Governor, it now serves as an important governmental building.
  • One Pillar Pagoda: Before moving on, you’ll stop at the One Pillar Pagoda, a small yet iconic temple, perched on a single stone pillar rising from a lotus pond. Built in 1049, it stands as a symbol of purity and peace. 

12:00 PM: Have lunch.

  • Museum of Ethnology: Dive into the heart of Vietnam’s diverse culture at the Museum of Ethnology. Here, the stories of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups come alive through an array of artifacts, textiles, and traditional crafts. 
  • Hoa Lo Prison: Next, you’ll visit the infamous Hoa Lo Prison, often referred to as the “Hanoi Hilton” by American POWs during the Vietnam War.
  • Water Puppet Performance: Your day culminates with a visit to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre for a vibrant and mesmerizing water puppet show.

Day 24: Hanoi city tour 9 hours – Airport Drop off

09:00 AM: Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and bring you to sightsee the city.

  • Exploring the Old Quarter: Your journey continues into the vibrant heart of Hanoi—the Old Quarter. Known as the “36 Streets,” this maze-like district is filled with narrow alleyways, bustling with vendors, shops, and local life.
  • Cyclo Tour: To fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere, hop on a cyclo—a traditional Vietnamese rickshaw. As you’re pedaled through the busy streets, past colorful stalls selling everything from silk to street food, you’ll feel a sense of connection to the city’s past.
  • Ngoc Son Temple: On an island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, you’ll visit Ngoc Son Temple, a tranquil spot dedicated to General Tran Hung Dao. The temple’s red bridge and peaceful surroundings make it a perfect retreat from the bustle of the Old Quarter.
  • Temple of Literature: After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll visit one of Hanoi’s most cherished landmarks—the Temple of Literature. Founded in 1070, this ancient temple is dedicated to Confucius and was home to Vietnam’s first university. 
  • Visit Dong Xuan Market – the largest traditional market in Hanoi.
  • Stroll along Train Street in the evening, enjoy street food & local atmosphere street food.

18:00 PM: Take you back the hotel, check-out

20:05 PM: Drop off at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) for departure from Hanoi. Good bye and see you later!
