2. Direction to Nha Trang from HCM

 

To travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang by private car, there are two main routes available. You can choose the route that is most suitable for your mode of transportation:

 

Option 1: The first route for traveling from Ho Chi Minh City ( HCMc) to Nha Trang by private car is approximately 430 km long and takes about 8 hours and 20 minutes (estimated):

 

From the city center, head towards Thu Thiem Tunnel, then enter the TP.HCM - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway. After driving about 55 km on the expressway, take a right turn and continue on National Highway 1A for about 7 km until you reach Long Khanh City in Dong Nai Province.

 

From there, take a shortcut onto Ho Xuan Huong Street and drive for about 6 km before making a left turn. Continue on National Highway 1A for about 40 km until you reach Binh Thuan Province.

 

In Binh Thuan Province, continue driving on National Highway 1A for approximately 180 km, passing through Phan Thiet City, until you reach Ninh Thuan Province.

 

From Ninh Thuan Province, continue on National Highway 1A for about 60 km, passing through Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Nui Chua National Park, until you reach Khanh Hoa Province. Finally, drive along National Highway 1A for about 70 km to reach Nha Trang City.

 

Option 2: The second route for traveling from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang, spanning approximately 420 km, is suitable for car with a driver who may speak a basic English at all.

 

From the city center of Ho Chi Minh City, start by heading towards Saigon Bridge, then enter Hanoi Highway for about 18 km until you reach the Vung Tau intersection. Then, turn right and continue for about 5 km before following Vo Nguyen Giap Street straight ahead.

 

After driving approximately 12 km on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, turn right onto National Highway 1A. Continue straight on National Highway 1A for about 25 km until you reach Long Khanh Town in Dong Nai Province. From here, follow the directions of the first route to reach Nha Trang City.
